Our Hotel is located in Rina di Marebbe (1400 m), and with his 470 inhabitants it results to be the smallest town in Marebbe. In the residencial centre you can breathe a peaceful and invigorating air. The rural landscape of country life, with his woods, meadows and pastures, is practically remained unchanged over the years; this allows our tourists to perceive the nature and the emotions it is able to transmit, in an intense and genuine way.Those in search of quiet and traditional ladin antmosphere, find in Rina the place which satisfies their desires.

The ladin name Al Cargà means “at the shoemaker”; actually, where today stands the hotel, once there lived the family of the shoemaker of Rina. The construction was composed by the house and a barn; over time the cargà prepared also a small tavern, which became an important meeting point for the inhabitants of Rina.

In 1965, even though Rina was reachable only by mule track, the construction was equipped to give hospitality to the first guests of the house, and after four years the barn was moved to make space for the expansion of the hotel. The building was demolished in 2000 to build the present Hotel. Like the original structure, Hotel Al Cargà is located in the town center just above the parish church, already mentioned in 1347 and dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul. The hotel has a beautiful view and beyond the restaurant there's a bar which plays an important role in the small community of Rina.

We thought to realize a family atmosphere, characterized by simplicity and quiet, where our guests can remove the daily grind and enjoy the place we offer, to rest body and mind in the extraordinary natural heritage of Val Badia.
